Some weddings you photograph and walk away with great images. Then there are weddings like Maclaine and Jordan's
Wheeler House, Ball Ground, Georgia
Nestled in the north Georgia foothills, Wheeler House in Ball Ground is the kind of venue that doesn't need to try hard. The natural setting does the work — lush spring greenery, open sky, and a warmth that feels like the South at its best. It was the perfect backdrop for a couple who knew what they wanted. Everything about this day was intentional, and the venue matched that energy completely.
The Details That Stood Out
The Details That Stood Out
The florals were something else entirely. Garden-style bouquets overflowing with coral peonies, peach ranunculus, and soft blue delphinium — loose, lush, and completely unforgettable.
The bridal look was equally stunning. A lace off-the-shoulder gown with a flowing cathedral veil, paired with the groom in a clean ivory suit... they looked like they belonged in a film!
Maclaine and Jordan
What made this day truly unforgettable wasn't any single detail — it was the people at the center of it.
Maclaine and Jordan are young, but they carry a depth that you feel immediately. The kind of love they have for each other isn't performative — it's quiet and certain and completely real. Every moment of their day felt like it was built around who they actually are as a couple, not what a wedding is supposed to look like. That intentionality showed in everything from the ceremony to the way they looked at each other during portraits.
Beyond just the two of them, the family that showed up said everything. Genuine, truly the most caring people who clearly wanted the best for this couple's future,
and made sure family was felt in every part of the day. That's an overlooked thing, and it made the atmosphere on the ground something special to be in the middle of.
THE Moment Worth a Thousand Saves
The bouquet kiss moment —it was the one photo she requested from the whole day, the one when they lean in and the hold up florals to hide the kiss between them, that almost didn't make it into the final edit. I almost overthought it. But that image has since found its way to inspire thousands of brides across Pinterest, and if you're here you know why. It captures exactly what this day was: two people completely wrapped up in each other, surrounded by beauty, with the whole world falling away for just a second.
That's what great wedding photography is supposed to do. Insure the natural essence of the couple is documented!
